The online class

Whenever I'm joining an online meeting or discussion or webinar, I will start to chuckle whenever someone on the driver seat started to say things like
"Hello, hello can you hear me?"
"Can you see my slide?"
"Where is this button, I cannot find the share button"
"Hellloooo"
etc
Then I made it a point, reminding myself to avoid saying similar things because you can figure those out before hands.
But then there I was doing the exact same thing in my class even when I was 99% sure that everything is working well.
Then I realize, it was actually like a conversation starter {probably one of those cliche ones} during a live session. It's like you were asking about the weather to strike a conversation with someone you just met.
Ahhhh, the joy of online meetings.
Then I also wonder, are my students really there on the other side? and if they do, do they actually listen?
